Not proof of Anything, 77% of Internet Voters say Sex with Robot Hookers is not Cheating
Posted in random on June 30, 2008 by 8a11zI agree that it is probably a question that will need to be answered in the future. So far, 77% agree it’s not cheating, does the line blur when a vibrator becomes a fully interactive sexbot?
Hilarity in NATURE
Posted in random, science on June 30, 2008 by 8a11zI was reading Nature 444 for my candiacy exam. Following an article on wakefield accelerators is the following evolutionary biology abstract: “Are two penises better than one? Not so, implies a study of doubly endowed earwigs. An ancestral behavioural preference for the right penis might have facilitated the loss of the left in species that arose later.”
I couldn’t make that shit up. (Also I was unaware that any animal had 2).

Homestar Runner
Posted in art, random with tags homestar runner, strong bad, teen girl squad on May 25, 2008 by McN00bYou probably haven’t thought about homestar in years (I know I really hadn’t). But the site is still alive and well. There are now 14 Teen Girl Squad Episodes (and the title of the teen girl squad page is T33n G1rl Squ4dx0rx!!). If you’ve never seen teen girl squad, I highly recommend it, especially the first one. The Strong Bad emails are still updated, including the most recent one, about cereal called Specially Marked. In it, Strongbad says,
You should avoid cereals that have stuff grown in Iowa. It’s better to look for cereals named after sound effects, like “pops”, “smacks”, “puffs”, and “gunshots in a crowded mall”.
At first glance, it looks like the sight has still got it.
